In Conversation: William Bock and Gabhann Dunne

William Bock and Gabhann Dunne both opened their solo exhibitions at Uillinn: West Cork Arts Centre simultaneously on Saturday 29 February 2020.  Both artist led guests around their respective gallery spaces while discussing each other’s work and process.

Gabhann Dunne’s work reflects on issues of emigration, migration, absence and our changing climate. His exhibition Committed to Falling, which coincides with Land Walks Land Talks Land Marks at Uillinn, comprises over one hundred small oil paintings of migratory birds that are known to visit Ireland and a new series depicting extinct or non native but naturalised plant species found in West Cork.
