Directions
At the corner of the lake, keep right and walk for 300 metres. Turn right up onto trail up the hill into Knockomagh Hill Woods following path to the top.
This is an uphill walk and challenging at times as it’s very steep at times. Allow yourself 2 hours for the return journey which includes snack and rest stops. Wear sensible walking shoes and all weather clothing. Bring water and snacks.
Bring your smart phone and headphones and make sure this track is downloaded on your phone before you begin as reception is very bad around the lake.
